NEWSFLASH: The world doesn’t owe you sh*t. Today, everyone thinks that they deserve something, or expect something to come their way just because it is “right”. I’m sorry sister (or brother) but who do you think you are?
You may not notice this yourself as a kid, but when you actually have to start busting your own butt, you quickly realize that things cannot be “free”.
The saying “freedom is not free” is the absolute truth. Everyone has a price to pay, either it be money, labor, life, etc. Things just can’t be free because you want them too. You have to put into account what it takes. And how would you feel if you put in all this effort, and get nothing in return? You’d be pretty pissed.
So next time you think healthcare, college education, rent, insurance, whatever it may be should be free, remember what goes into it to get the developed product. (Yes, it can be overpriced which is annoying, but nothing can be “free”).
Throw on your big kid pants and quit your complaining about the world “owing” you something. Go out there and do what it takes to get what you want. Contribute to society and make a life for yourself. You owe it to yourself, the world does not owe you.
