Just Because The World Has Stopped Doesn’t Mean We Have To

Just Because The World Has Stopped Doesn’t Mean We Have To

Everyone thinks that the whole human race is currently doomed. Corona virus, quarantine, and having everything fun being shut down for the rest of the spring/summer. Yeah, it sucks. Obviously, this is not the way we thought the new decade would kick off. But I think it is a great time to sit back and reflect on ourselves. Maybe ask yourself questions like: Where is your faith? Have you been sticking to your goals outside of work? What could you do to make the most out of this time in quarantine?

We are all in this together, and since we are all at home with no plans, nowhere to go, etc. we are going to find ourselves getting bored really quick. Doing somethings other than watching TV will probably boost your mood and make you more productive. Why not try a new recipe, or be creative and take some pictures, or start up a journal? Having a few weeks inside will help you create these good habits, and when things pick up in the outside world again, you can keep these going, maybe at a smaller amount, but doing these things will keep your mind active all around.

Another trend that has been brought to attention is to “act with kindness”. First off, you should always be acting with kindness, but during this troublesome time where we don’t know what extremes the next day will bring, we should always be acting with kindness. Simple acts of kindness go such a long way and having this world we live in now remind you that we cannot take every day for granted, and that we should be kind no matter what.

Just because the world has come to a screeching halt to the public, doesn’t mean we have to stop growing and learning ourselves. Make the most out of this quarantine and keep moving forward.

xoxo, triple tea
